Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 October 2026 · Effective: 25 October 2026
In short: ChapterAce generates practice questions with AI to help you study. Use it for your own learning, keep your account to yourself, and don’t upload material you have no right to use. AI output can be wrong — always check against your textbook. We can change or stop the service, and either of us can end your account.

1. The agreement

These Terms are a contract between you and Iniyarajan, an individual based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India (“ChapterAce”, “we”, “us”), covering the ChapterAce mobile app and the website at chapterace.com (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

2. Who can use ChapterAce

3. Your account

4. The service & AI-generated content

ChapterAce fetches textbook chapters from public sources (such as DIKSHA for NCERT and Samacheer Kalvi books) or extracts text from a page you upload, and uses large language models to generate practice questions, answers and explanations.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Content & intellectual property

7. Free tier & payments

8. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination your licence ends; sections 6, 9, 10 and 11 continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. In particular, we make no promise that using ChapterAce will improve any exam result.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost marks or opportunities, or data loss arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection forum available to you, the courts of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction. Before going to court, please write to us — most issues can be resolved directly.

12. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date above will change, and for material changes we will notify you in the app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
